Please pray
One of the biggest parts of my ministry at YFC is running a club for jr. high students in the Queen Elizabeth community. I have been connected to this community for 3 years and know alot of students and parents from the area of Saskatoon. It is for this reason that we looked for a year to buy a house and move into the area. God has provided that home for us and know we must go to Him again. Right now we are without a facility to continue running this program in the school. While we have support from parents and teachers in the community we have lost our time slot in Queen Elizabeth school. Please pray that God will move in the community association to allow us to be able to continue to run this program. This is very deep on my heart as we have just moved and the thought of having to uproot our club is weighing heavy on my heart.

FYI - I sub at QE quite a bit and I overheard the principal defending your program. So you do have higher up staff on your side.

Yeah the principal and members of the QECA Board our in support but no one wants to step up to the plate and make a motion or create a time for us...in short...they want us there but don't want to be the one to make it happen...they think they will take "heat" for the "religious aspect"

Clarification: It's not that no one wants to step up to the plate, it's that there's not ENOUGH people to step up to the plate. (ie. if we were to make a motion, there wouldn't be enough people to vote our way, or else they would have another vote when we weren't present at a another meeting and change it back...)

vote via email is available...

What do you mean?

that not everyone needs to attend to vote...at the last meeting the talked about voting on something else through email, so why not do that for this too.

Even if we got everyone to vote (either e-mail or in person), I don't think people are strong enough to make a stand. That's what I meant.
